As the government of United States has put ban on federal agencies for using a Russian brand of security software amid fears the company has tied to state-sponsored cyber-espionage activities and ordered to come up with a solution and plan to uninstall it and find a replacement within 90 days, the Kremlin statement is a response to the ’90-days’ deadline restrict to US federal agencies for removing the security software.

The Department of Homeland Security of United States said it is a matter to be concerned about binds between the Russian intelligence services and company officials.

The ties and binds to the Kremlin are being continuously denied by Kaspersky Lab.

While US vendor Best Buy has claimed that it wouldn’t sell Kaspersky products in its stores anymore.

Russia believed that this decision can only cause abomination and also marked a question about the reliability of the United States as partners, adding that “the ban would also challenge the competitive position of Russia firms around the world.”

It is further followed by an earlier statement issued by the Russian embassy in New York which states that “the move would extend an ongoing diplomatic dispute between the two nations.”

“These steps can only evoke regrets. They only move back the prospects of bilateral ties recovery,” they added.

The decision of forcibly remove of Kaspersky anti-virus and security software was exposed by acting Homeland Security Secretary Elaine Duke, as miss Duke considers the relation of the company with the Russian government masquerades a threat to the security of U.S government.

She said in a statement;

“The department is concerned about the ties between certain Kaspersky officials and Russian intelligence and other government agencies,”

“The risk that the Russian government, whether acting on its own or in collaboration with Kaspersky, could capitalize on access provided by Kaspersky products to compromise federal information and information systems directly implicates US national security,” she added.

The decision is then left on vote system which is coming forward to a vote in the Senate of United States this week which leads to banning the use of the company’s products by government, instead of having more than 400 million customers globally, Kaspersky has never made it in becoming a vital or chief supplier to the US government.

The accusations have led to a number of US vendors to moving back with its products from sale. The latest is electronics vendor ‘Best Buy’ which said that there are too many questions to be answered about the firm’s software. Kaspersky products will now be reserved for stores and the firm’s website.

Kaspersky Lab disappointedly said;

“The communication was misinterpreted or manipulated to try to make the media outlet’s narrative work.

Kaspersky Lab is very public about the fact that it assists law enforcement agencies around the world with fighting cyber-threats, including those in Russia, by providing cyber-security expertise on malware and cyber-attacks.”

However, in July, the US General Services Administration removed Kaspersky Lab from a list of approved vendors ‘after review and careful consideration’.

They further stated:

“The company has never helped, nor will help, any government in the world with its cyber-espionage efforts.

Kaspersky Lab believes it is completely unacceptable that the company is being unjustly accused without any hard evidence to back up these false allegations.”

Mr. Kaspersky shows his will to meet US government officials and provide his company’s software code for audit, said in a statement.

“Kaspersky Lab, a private company, seems to be caught in the middle of a geopolitical fight where each side is attempting to use the company as a pawn in their political game,” the company said.

The Trump administration had allegations that it has contact with Russian officials during the US election in 2016 which is now been fought.
