Today was a great fear for Facebook users when some of them suddenly locked out of their account. But luckily that wasn’t done by hackers as told by Facebook spokesperson.
According to him the account recovery flow mistakenly sent to a small chunk of Facebook users when an error occurs in the system designed to prevent suspicious account access. Further, he explained that the issue have been solved and soon the accounts affected will be cleared.
The problem is not a security issue for any of the user who has been locked out. In fact, Facebook was quick enough to assure this as a technical mistake by the company. In general, all is going well. But we apologize for any inconvenience to our users. The spokesperson further added.
A recent hot burst for many sites is the CloudFlare issue but fortunately, Facebook concern is totally disassociated from it.
So, are you worried about what should one do to overcome the problem if you are a victim to it? The easiest is to do nothing as Facebook will resolve the problem by itself. But if you are desperate to use it, just go to Facebook prompt and reset the password.
